Formatting Fix-ups #15

Submitting some quick fixes for markdown formatting and style consistency.

There's a spicy change in here though: using monospace for the underscore callout. I generally feel it's appropriate for any time you're calling out a specific character, rather than "idk, a human eye will parse this fine". 100% willing to revert the though.

As a side note: really love where everything is headed so far. (Also, I like the use of current slang for some of the labels: they're much more understandable than a more long-form description).
