Can't view chat from deleted user #4222

Describe the bug It is not possible to view a chat from a deleted user. This means the notification is stuck along with my own general confusion as to what was said. The messages are clearly still there per the preview but that is it.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Have a chat with a user
  2. Have the user delete
  3. Observe the lack of observation

Expected behavior

The ability to see past conversations with deleted users. There is merit to being able to see past conversations.

No way of clicking on the message. Link is visible on hover but attempting to go to it leaves me spinning (see below). Visiting the link did clear the notification at least, but I still want to know what was said.
