No-one likes fishing for details about how media will be re-compressed upon publishing, especially when presentation is important, so making this information available upfront in the New Post window would help take some of the sting out of the process.

I don't see why videos in this format shouldn't be supported anyway, so long as they stay under the 25 MB compression limit.
