There have been many requests for something along the lines of this feature request on the platform. It got to the point where a third-party dev created a tool. However, the tool does not allow adding to existing lists, which is the major use case in my request. https://bsky.app/profile/joshuajfriedman.com/post/3laotwv3czk2g
Here is the most recent highly upvoted(2.5k) request for pinning a Starter Pack as a feed, which this feature request enables. https://bsky.app/profile/astrokatie.com/post/3lamauue44c2x
Note on my recent edit: I realized that for a really powerful List management system, also adding the Add to Lists menu item to other Lists themselves would allow me to combine my own Lists, and add people from another user's List into one of my own Lists.
@surfdude29 & @diderich - mentioning you because you gave this request a like, and I have now changed it. Not sure if you still like it.
Describe the Feature
I follow more than 1k users. The Following feed already fails me with that number, as far as showing me everything. I do know about feeds which can address this, like Quiet Posters, Best of Follows, etc.
I want more granular control, I need groups of users. That is why I love my curated Lists. I pin them to my Feeds and it rocks! I think that in the future, users will seek each other's lists much more. A user curating a List is superior to algorithmic feeds in some ways.
We already know this because the other form of user curated lists on Bksy are Starter Packs. People have put a lot of time into curating these user lists, and they are super popular.
Let me combine these two powers, please!
In the Starter Pack context menu, please add the "Add to Lists" menu item.
Also, in the List context menu, please add the "Add to Lists" menu item.
On click, the user is shown the same Add to Lists modal as when clicked on a single user, except instead of one user, all Starter Pack users are being manipulated. In the last of Lists, all List users are being manipulated.
That's it. I would now have the ability to leverage all the work that Starter Pack and List creators did, and add their lists to the work that I did to create my own Lists. That is pretty powerful.
Thank you for your time!

Describe Alternatives
Open a Starter Pack's user list, open each user, then click add to list. This is so annoying that I have only done it 1.5 times. I have wanted to do it to half of Starter Packs that I have seen.
