the ability to hide who your following or who is following you, as well as the number counts.

I would appreciate this feature. It will make for a much more enjoyable experience, instead of stressing about counts.

I do wonder if there are detriments for allowing people to hide these counts, like making it more difficult to determine if the account is trustworthy. But I suppose a different argument can be made when the counts are visible, an argument claiming the counts can be gamed.
