Birthday Input box reports "missing privileges". Misconfiguration? #6181

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go to settings
  2. Click on moderation/show birthday
  3. Try to input legal birthday
  4. Get "unauthorized to make changes/missing privileges"
  5. Did you forget the "allow user to add birthday" button?

Are there any dependencies missing/corrupted in the servers?

Can't reproduce when signed in with password, can reproduce when using app password. App passwords are specifically forbidden to write into synced preferences, so this is expected, the only thing that isn't is the error being thrown.
