Show join date for other users in profile

Describe the Feature

Bluesky app should show join dates of profiles. (When the account was created.) Month and year resolution would be good, no need for specific date.

From experience on Twitter and Threads, this is a hugely valuable piece of info when fighting against bots and information attacks.

Bad actor accounts are sometimes recently created, but at other times they can also come from a specific batch of accounts that was stolen or resold. Account creation time in individual accounts and comparing them in groups of accounts helps identify these.

Having the join date info available publicly seems to be a good tool for a bit of social norms check, while not violating anyone’s privacy.

it does not need to be front and center in profile (like it is in Twitter). It can also be in some menu behind some button taps (like it is in Threads).

I note that there is already a feature on Bluesky which surfaces newly joined accounts and encourages me to greet them. Which is lovely.

Some other users also noted that there is no way to see my own join date anywhere right now, as far as I can tell. That would be neat to know, and addressing the above request would also provide this, I could see it for myself the same way as I see it for others.
