remove base stop attribute #41

I'm not sure if adding bluesky as a dependency is something that I actually want to do for this package...

I do want to pin the version of bluesky however, and I think this is the best way to do it

I guess I'm wrong, the changes haven't been released---keeping this open until upstream releases
