This is a feature request: I really like how the forum permissions can be assigned by rank, it adds to the immersion and i can administer the site in character :) However, that immersion goes away when setting moderators as the only option there is to make a user a moderator. It would be most excellent if the application allowed assignment of moderator status by rank as well. So you could have members of a certain rank moderate particular boards in the same way as ranks are given read/write permissions to these boards. It would make the whole mechanism more consistent and allows for automatic change of moderators as people change ranks (i.e. if someone is promoted to a rank that is a moderator of a particular board, they just become moderators of that board without anyone touching anything).
