essentially it's the full squarebracket experience but on old browsers. this would require a way to compress videos to small-ass sizes (as to not make the wii get a memory error), but it would be worth it. This would also require a flash player and an activex player (as a bonus). I know the old youtube flash players work with mp4 files (because of good old poktube), but that may not work on the wii, so I'd suggest converting them to FLV and maybe an activex-compatible codec.
I'd suggest aiming IE6/Firefox 1/Wii's Internet Channel Opera Version (don't remember) for compatibility, or IE7/Firefox 2 if we wanted a better looking "retro mode".
