hulu plugin does not work with hulu.jp

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. installed hulu addon in xbmc
2. setup hulu japan account
3. setup hulu addon with hulu.jp account info

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to use the hulu plugin but get a plugin error with a little red icon 
at the bottom left of the xbmc screen... just says "plugin error"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
im using the newest hulu on xbmc stable version on ubuntu oneiric

Please provide any additional information below.
im guessing that this plugin only works with hulu.com users in the US and will 
not work with hulu.jp Japanese users. 

If that is the case, would you kindly alter the script to work with hulu.jp 
users?
