M3 does not connect, master stuck trying

stuck in Unit.connect at

{13:59:10.624|inst.XerxesMountBinary[03_1]} Trying to connect to inst.XerxesMountBinary at /dev/ttyS4

not even crashing after 5 mins as in our known cases (#16). Same after rebooting.

stuck in fprintf(Unit.Mount.SerialResource,' ') which can be aborted with Ctrl-C though. What is happening? Serial card fried?

(however, as a BTW, also M3F2 was not found last time, and

overcome after disconnecting power cable for an hour, Unit 3 operates normally during the night.
