last04w replaced with the ex 11w today, and tested connecting.
Note, the replacement computer has only 128GB RAM instead of 256 as the other ones.
This means that the extra RAM was not installed. We will have to do it on site. Arie/David - Do we have the extra RAM?

We have seen this a lot. Mostly for last04w, then last08w, tonight for last01e for the first time. In other tickets (#6, #7) we reported that we were not able to revive the computers, but still we don't know why they turn off. Kernel panic might be a hypothesis.
Upon inspection this evening, the computers were on (fan, blue leds) but no lights of the ethernet sockets were blinking, and indeed one of the symptoms is that they don't even respond to ping. To restart the computers it was necessary both to turn off and on the switch on the back panel, and to push the button on the front panel. Just pressing the latter didn't restart the computer. Also, a monitor connected to the computer in that state showed no video signal (both last04w and last01e), but that is probably more normal if the monitor was not attached when the computer was on.
In the past some computers were rebooted by power cycling them remotely using the ethernet switches. However on top of that we have seen (#6) that certain computers reset the bios settings to default, forgetting the "always on" setting after power outage.
