See: http://www.loc.gov/standards/mods/userguide/origininfo.html#issuance Two issues with Issuance: In MODS XML it is part of originInfo. See also discussion at https://github.com/blunalucero/MODS-RDF/issues/10 I would argue that, independent from how we decide to handle originInfo, issuance should be its own, separate property. It also has enumerated values: monographic, single unit, multipart monograph, continuing, serial, integrating resource. How should we treat those?

We are defining a bunch of controlled vocabularies in id.loc.gov for BIBFRAME. These are candidates.

Per 5/20/14 conference call issuance will be removed from originInfo and carried over as its own property.
