Apologies. I have not been around to maintain this library adequately. But I don't think I can accept this. The change appears to originate from the mdb.master branch upstream. But that branch is not considered stable IIRC.
My current practice is to only merge upstream changes to the LMDB library that have been tagged as stable releases (originating from the branch mdb.RE/0.9).
