New contact on Phone are synced with empty phone number

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a new contact on the phone.
2. Add "Home" phone number.
3. Sync with kolab server.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the contact is added to kolab repository with "home1" phone number.
I see the contact is added with "home1" entry, but no number in the 
<phone></phone> tag.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
kolab-android 0.7
HTC Android 2.3.3

Please provide any additional information below.
In the message body of the kolab-entry, the phone number is listed
under ----- Contact Methods -----.
