I'm unable to replicate this in a course or on the front page:

Ok my troubles are not on the front page. may be you can see http://fael.fr (conect as guest ;-) ) on the front page : 'nos formations' (with student hat icon) > a distance (with screen icon) > Certification : le MCCC (book icon on center of 3) The awesone icon filter is OFF you can see / the screenshots on moodle.org are with filter ON I'm with firefox and/or opera // vista // Elegance (2.7.0.06 Build: 2014070401) // Moodle 2.6.2+ (Build: 20140411) ...

the icons are supposed to be large on the "course categories" section: screen shot 2014-08-21 at 7 26 29 am

Unless I'm completely missing the issue I will close this ticket as invalid as the icons are supposed to be big.

large icons are by design ;)

Hi Danny, My trouble is not the bigs icons in the category courses BUT bigs icons everywhere : In the course name or in a label .....(look my screenshot) You can't reproduice it ok BUT i can't work with big icon in the name of course or inside label ;-) Please don't close this ticket !!

please try the new 2.7.1 release. as you can see in my screenshot above it's not an issue in the 'master' version which 2.7.1 was released.

I'm going to need some more information then as I'm unable to replicate it. do you have any 'custom css' added to the elegance theme? what's your version of moodle? what happens when you switch themes?

custom css :

With the standard theme 'Clean' & FontAwesome Filter ON :

(logical Clean don't use them ;)

With theme Boostrap 3 (i need it with elegance) :

With essantial theme : NO PROBLEM !! :

Is like if the big icon stay everywhere not just for the icon category ;) I hope help you ?
