IE8 compatibility #69

Despite the existence of html5shiv and respond.min js files, the theme does not support IE8 at all. Any chance of looking at this?

Moodle doesn't support IE8 so I can't really either, but we'll look at it if it's an easy enough fix.

Thanks - Essential theme figured it out can I couldn’t figure out all they did to get it going. I did notice that they moved the html5shiv.js to the jquery folder and activated it that way. I tried that in Elegance - IE8 referenced it in developer tools but it didn’t make any difference. I tried adding respond.min.js as well but to no avail…
