Eufy 30c scripts? #33

Hi I am at the step where I add the scripts to give my vacuum functionality in home assistant. I have a eufy 30c vacuum, do I use the 15C scripts? or the g30 scripts? My intuition is telling me the 15c scripts since the only difference between the 15c and 30c is the magnetic strip detection. But there seems to be features in the g30 script that should work with my 30c. Any guidance would be very appreciated.

Try 15C scripts, replacing 15c with 30c. If there is a feature from the g30 scripts, copy it and add it (replacing with 30c) and see if it works. I'm unsure, but might work like that.

Hi! Thank you for your fork of this repo! When I used your fork my 30C was able to be detected no problem. Strangely it showed up with the name "eufy 30c" but the model name of "G30 Verge". I was then able to use the G30 scripts, with "G30" word being replaced with "eufy_30C".

Hope this helps someone with the same issue as me!
