Using/renting the Braga tennis club courts #35

@Stephanymtr Could you please find out what the requirements are to use/rent a tennis court over at the courts near the piscina da Rodovia?

Do we need to be members? What do we need to bring in terms of paperwork if so? How do we actually book a court? What are the costs? What are the limits on how many people/children of x age on a court?

Lastly: Do they have availability for this afternoon and what times? Are they open on Monday next week.

I called them and they explained that because of the "Provas Internacionais", they aren't renting out their courts this week. However, they will be opened on Monday from 9am-11pm. You don't need to be member and don't need to provide any paperwork.

How what you need: Basically, you have to call one hour before to book a court. All players have to come 'equipado' wearing 'sapatilha de tenis'. You can bring balls and rackets, or you can rent those over there. There can only be 4 people - no more than that. Children are welcome too.

Costs: adult: 5 euros per person per hour children: 3,25 euros per kid per hour (up to 16 years old)

There are no requirements. I asked a few weeks ago after swimming. We can just show up and rent a court. The first time we rent a court we have to "reserve" it in-person (we can't call ahead) The maximum waiting time is T1h. The maximum playing time is T90m (1 hour 30 mins). They have rackets and balls available to rent if we don't have our own. Thankfully we have good rackets and balls and can take them with us when we go.
