When the api explorer is bundled with the root server, we would probably want a way to set the default (autoselected).

This was complicated, but i think i have this set correctly. I cant completely test functionality til this is bundled with a root server, so will have to work with you guys to test that before release. I will leave this issue open til we confirm its working
