The 1. bug is happening to me as well
For the first error, does this occur when a new video goes up? I've encountered an error when parsing a syncEvent
, which indicates that something on the backend may have changed in regard to notifications. I've been using this to handle new videos being pushed to the feed in real-ish time.
As for the second, I'm working on this. I currently have very limited time due to work, unfortunately, but I'll see if I can't get a PoC out soon.
The first error occurs always when new video goes up, but also randomly, when there hasn't been anything new
Can I use ADB to collect some logs for you? (or something else)

If it's occurring when nothing new has been posted, then I'm not entirely sure. You can try grabbing logcat output, but I doubt such will be fruitful given that the behavior is presumably inconsistent.
I'll have to poke around more to see if I can determine a potential cause. 🤔

As for me is the same as @miicat on newer videos it happens more often, 2-3 times sometimes.
If you need anything logwise let me know.

To further clarify, is this happening specifically when a new video notification goes out while you're watching an already posted video? This is the only issue I've been able to identify that should be causing any sort of erroring/crashing.
If you're using the store version, can you identify what device you're using (either codename or model)? Google Play Console actually provides some useful stacktraces, so I might be able to find your exact crash.
@miicat Could you also post what device you're using?
I'm using the GitHub version, bc the Google Play version didn't work for me
I'm using Xiaomi Mi Box S 4K HDR (product number: PFJ4086EU)

Cant tell because i dont use the Floatplane app on my phone. I'm lookin most videos on my tv. I am using this app because Chromecast dont work for me on whatever reason.

I am using the version from github. I am runing the app on the Nvida Shield TV (P2897)
There's a new beta release posted if anyone would like to try it. While it most likely won't fix all of the aforementioned, let me know if your experience changes any.
Thanks for the fast release!
I will install it tomorrow and see if it helps/fixes it
Thanks I will test it over the weekend and let you know
So i used it for the last 4 days and so far no Video Stoped playing but i keep testing over the week and report on the weekend. It seems the fix worked :D
I have used it for a while now and yesterday video stopped playing. There was no new video posted. That bug happens far less now nevertheless
@bmlzootown any updates? There's not been much development since May - still swamped at work?
Apologies -- no updates at the moment, no. Swamped at work, home, etc. It's been all around chaos.
Hi Thanks for the app works fine so far. But got 2 Problems
