My stab at revising: "Examples of such features include the ability to select from multiple Enigma versions, select from multiple rotors, ..." The google doc is not editable at the moment....
Out of curiosity - Does everyone have Office? If so, the documents are all editable if you download the google drive app to your computer. You can open them as f they are on your own hard drive. It does not leave revision history that way however, so changes will have to be mentioned in the comments.
If not everyone has office, we can update all of the docs to google docs and I can just do a transfer of the contents to a .docx or pdf with the cover pages when we are ready to submit each week.
I have Office 2010, and for the record, we can use Track Changes in Word to mark up documents.
I have 2013, but I've never installed the drive app.
I have... some... recent Office. Oh, 2010. I haven't installed the drive app. I admit I've largely been downloading-recent-version, editing, then uploading. I've been avoiding editing the Google docs versions of stuff because I don't trust the programs to retain our formatting when switching between Word and Google (I used to try to get by with OpenOffice, then I found out that the formatting my instructor was seeing wasn't what I was seeing, which was important in a technical writing class).
Looks like out current path of converting everything to google docs is working. Is this resolved?
Updated the User Guide and Final Doc with Walter's suggestion.
From reviewer Katherine Wolfe: "I’m not sure I understand what you mean about the feature of “the ability to select components of any machine version” (at the very end of page)"
Recommend we revisit phrasing to make sure it's clear.
