Binance Smart Chain Hackathon :

Binance Smart Chain is proud to be partnering with Gitcoin on DeFi & Cross-chain Interoperability Hackathon. This is a 3-week virtual hackathon event that features $20,000 in cash prizes. We welcome all talented developers, builders, and creatives from around the world to build the next generation of projects on Binance Smart Chain, which is an EVM-compatible high-performance blockchain featuring cross-chain compatibility with Binance Chain.

Prize Bounty

This hackathon features a total of $20,000 BUSD

Gold (1 teams)

$12,000 in BUSD Tokens
Limited edition Gitcoin Kudos NFT to display on your Gitcoin profile.

Silver (1 teams)

$6,000 in BUSD Tokens
Limited edition Gitcoin Kudos NFT to display on your Gitcoin profile.

Bronze (1 teams)

$2,000 in BUSD Tokens
Limited edition Gitcoin Kudos NFT to display on your Gitcoin profile.

Challenge Description

We’re looking for NFT analytics projects that make great use of NFT data sources for analytics and appraisals, like https://rarity.tools/. Primary focus is NFTs on BSC.

This prize will be awarded to the most interesting websites that provide visualization of NFT data.

Submission Requirements

A functional project that applies to the challenge’s description.
If there is wide appeal for the application, it will score better.
Description of the project, and spec are to be included as well.
A demo video must be submitted for a complete submission.
Please include valid BSC wallet address to receive BUSD

Judging Criteria

A panel of judges from Binance Smart Chain and its partners will evaluate your submission. Here’s the criteria by which your work will be judged :

Shows the most popular NFT on the BSC network and their statistical data.
Design and usability.
Allow users to list projects.
The relative ease of use, as affordable by the UI and UX implemented for the submission.

Winner Announcement Date

Hackathon Kick-off: Oct 18, 00:01
Binance Smart Chain Workshops: Oct 18-8th Nov (times TBA)
Deadline for Submissions: Nov 8, 23:59
Judging: Nov 9 - Nov 12
