API change? sports route #21

The sports route appears to have changed.

There are images but no articles at the moment. Im not sure if this is a bug or not.

To make things in the app a bit more robust: Currently, the app tries to render the news card, but the key fields are empty, but we're not checking for this: section, subsection, title, abstract, and url are empty strings.

In response to an email to the team at the NYT @nyt-hughmandeville alerted me to a change on the sports desk, as the NYT has acquired The Athletic and now all sports reporting is done through them –– also the route has now been fixed. As the article cited is from July 10, 2023, so I imagine the API route has been broken for a few beats, and neither I nor anyone else noticed or reported it to them.
