lancache works good with steam, blizzard, etc... but not Origin (can't install neither origin software or apex legends)

bntjah commented 5 years ago

Hey Cyrianox,

I don't really think this will be possible to cache as some parts are going over HTTP and most is going over HTTPS... The reason its in there as this is easier to use bandwith shaping on firewall as its coming from 1 source ip instead of multiple... And some parts are cached...

nexus, what monitoring software is that in the background "system overview" tabs.. That shit looks awesome. I'm using a mixture of lancache-elk to see graphically how much is being cached vs. missed, but that looks like it's much more responsive. I'd love to give that try and have better visibility into what the server is doing at any given time..

The monitoring software I use is this. https://www.howtoforge.com/tutorial/how-to-install-and-use-netdata-performance-monitoring-tool-on-debian-9/

Thanks SOOOO much! I have been needing something like this forever.. I was using cacti.. but it's really for network/switches and SNMP type stuffs. This looks perfect!
