mouse driver: front falls off #60

% echo accelerated > /dev/mousectl
causes the front to fall off on my X41.
The mouse jumps around, the button and axes seem to be rotated in a weird way.
It stops after a few minutes, it seems (but it's not accelerated after).

i sometimes had that same effect right after bootup... (that could
be caused by the echo accelerated > /dev/mousectl in lib/profile)

lets figure out how this can happen...

The "stops after a few seconds" part reminds me of how the trackpoint behaves 
on my X61 with Linux. I can accelerate it, but 10 minutes later I start 
wondering if I applied any acceleration.
