Closed frijheid closed 6 months ago

Dear developers,

Thank you for updating this useful VBA. I have encountered an error, which is that the style cycling for images is not working. However, the style cycling for headings is functioning properly. I have provided a video demonstrating the error in the attachment. Please kindly address this issue. Once again, I appreciate your attention to this matter. https://github.com/boar24/InsertCrossReferencesComfortably/assets/85784404/d8a79ead-7aab-4768-be81-674657e71386

Best regards.

Hi frijheid,

you are welcome. With the document that you have provided on 24-02-15, I have made trials to reproduce the effect, but without success. I would need the document (excerpt) where it is not working to see what's going on.

Best regards

Hi boar24,

Thank you for the promt response I've created a sample document that demonstrates the issue I encountered with VBA Crossref as attached. Crossref image cycle problem.docx

Please let me know if it needs other information.

Strangely, I could not reproduce the effect that cycling does nothing (as can be seen in your video), even though I used your file Crossref image cycle problem.docx and its included code.

However, I found that it cycled through the configured options for headlines instead of the configured options for figures. That was due to the numbering scheme à la "1.1" (instead of a simple number "1") and should now be fixed with the latest version.

Please try again with this version.

Hi boar24,

I just wanted to express my gratitude for your prompt attention to the issue. I've tested the latest version you provided, and I'm happy to report that the style cycling for images is now functioning perfectly. It seems like the problem was indeed resolved with the latest update.

Thank you once again for your dedication to addressing these matters promptly.
