Prize Bounty

$5000 in USDC, up to three different prizes, see below.

This prize is sponsored by Boardroom, UMA, Compound, Snapshot, and Gnosis.

Challenge Description

This challenge is all about composability. DAOs are multidisciplinary and diverse, but we haven't yet seen the type of mass experimentation with "governance legos" as we've seen with DeFi's "money legos." Over the course of the hackathon, we want to see hackers combine tools from the co-sponsors to build something new for DAOs and their governance. This prize is purposefully open-ended - we want to see hackers leverage multiple tools to build anything that would be useful for DAO governance and/or operations.

Submission Requirements

To be considered for this prize, projects must use at least three of this prize's co-sponsors' tools. The project must be open source so that judges can review the sources and implementation.

Winner Announcement Date

On or around September 14th, 2021

Judging Criteria

This prize will be awarded to a project using multiple co-sponsor's tools such as Boardroom's governance API and/or governance portal, UMA’s DAO treasury management financial primitives, Gnosis’ suite of DAO tools, Snapshot’s off-chain voting platform, and Compound’s Governor Alpha and Bravo contracts.

We are looking for projects that identify specific issue and solve for it. Winner will be decided by judges from all of the participating co-sponsors.

First place: $3500 Second place: $1000 Third place: $500
