So the directory does exist. Am I doing it wrong? I'm on Kubuntu 20.04.4 and I installed Refind from the standard repos.

No, I installed another theme instead
This should be fixed once bobafetthotmail/refind-theme-regular#38 is merged in, if anyone comes across this!
