In wp-a2z there are a couple of taxonomies where we should be writing useful descriptions to be displayed in the taxonomy archive display.
block_category terms include the standard terms used by WordPress core and are extended by plugins that register their own category for their blocks.
block_classification terms are being used to classify the block according to its implementation. I’m still trying to determine the taxonomy terms needed. This information might be useful when it comes to being able to discover and install blocks.
Requirement
To be able to clone a Taxonomy term, including its description and meta data from the source to the target.
Proposed solution
Enable taxonomy cloning - if the taxonomy is attached to a clonable post type
Extend the [clone] [cloned] shortcodes to work for taxonomies
Clone post meta data including the duplicated content used by Genesis.
Additionally, where it’s applicable, attempt to reduce the need for all this duplicated content in the first place.
