Using [clone] to clone content with attachments fails to upload the attached files #9

The [clone] shortcode displays a list of content that needs to be cloned to selected targets. For new plugin versions this includes the plugin version, the attachment and the attached file. After cloning, the target posts have been created but the attached files don't seem to have been copied.

Workaround

ftp the attachments from the source machines uploads folder to the target servers

Additionally, when an attachment is being cloned, if the new target file file is now different, then the meta data needs to be updated to reflect the changes.

Note: This shouldn't really happen, but sometimes it's easier to replace the attached file than it is to delete the original post and add a new one.

I'm going to close this issue since it's very old but I' going to raise a new one regarding attachment file suffices.
