The footer template that I started to create was based on bobbingwide. Since AL suggested it was ugly and we've decided to try to reproduce wordpress.org's p2theme I need to update the footer template to be:
[ ] a series of vertical menus
[ ] with social links in the last column
[ ] and code is poetry - or a new message eg FSE is whizzy! centred below
