Save Text To File 2.5.3 on Firefox 34.0.5

Nice add-on yet a problem here with saving text from within the right-click context menu Save Text to File, ineffective. From the toolbar button (widget) all is fine.

Settings are ok, but highlighting text and calling Save Text to file from the right-click context menu is totally ineffective : nothing occurs. The text is not saved and there is no notification which leads me to believe the context menu action is totally off.

@Zylinder can you share the following information about your system please to help diagnose the issue ..

Which OS and version your running?
Version of Firefox installed?
Which version of addon installed?
Type "about:support" into location bar and copy/paste list of addons here

@bobbyrne01 hi, No point I guess in providing required information as I've just found the culprit. It's not Save Text To File's fault.

I use an add-on called Quick Context 2 0.1.9 (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/quick-context-2/) which pop-ups the context menu as soon as text is highlighted : at this point Save Text To File is ineffective. If I right-click again on the highlighted text (slightly off therefor from the popuped context menu) and choose 'Save Text to File' this time it works.

So : sorry for a false bug when it is clear the problem is that of 'Quick Context' add-on. First time I notice any issue with that add-on, though.

Anyway, I'm off to remove/chabe my comment/rating on AMO.

@Zylinder I appreciate you following up on the issue, and confirm that "Quick Context" is indeed the culprit.

@bobbyrne01 I have over 70 add-ons, love 'em all as if they were my own kids :) and when I adopt a new one it's always an event, I check the new member and see if we are made one for another, I think about it, talk about it with the other kids to see if they get along... so it's important, for the kids at home, for the new child and of course for myself. Hum... mainly for myself to be frank, considering those children are no more than add-ons. But I care so much for them :) Anyway, adopted!
