stats module polls disks constantly independent of what page is viewed #20

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install simple features 1.0.11
2. go to unraid's main page after reboot
3. notice disk activity despite a array stopped

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

disks should only be polled when one is on the stats page of the web interface, 
but the disks now show activity whenever one visits any page of the web 
interface. This was not the case for the 1.0.5 version of the module.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

1.0.11 ... but reverted back to 1.0.5 due to this issue
