What's with all the NULL spcodes in BCI? #3

There are numerous species from BCI that have NULL for spcodes... why?

For now, I am simply removing them:

tdata <- tdata[tdata$spcode != 'NULL',]

There are a lot of records in the bci data that have NULL spcode and are of different species. I replaced spcodes for three species that had "NULL" spcodes with the spcodes from the BCI_trait data. These were actually quite common species so i'm not sure what is going on. I wrote to Suzanne Lao on Oct 23 asking for clarification...

Suzanne Lao said to download the latest taxonomy report (she didn't know what I was talking about) and there are still some species that have blank Mneumonics).
