http://bobwaycott.github.io/octotest/ is currently generating a 404 error

Whoa. That's odd. Let me figure that out real quick.

EDIT: Looks like there's something up with Github Pages right now. Everything is working normally locally and all generated site files are present. Will keep an eye on this for changes.

Okay, looks like gh-pages is resolving again (no changes here). Guess it was something temporary with GH.
