We discussed what address to use in Slack around 25 Sept 2019.
I don't mind a shorter name. We should use the same name in the website's URL as in the email though. Maybe just wpcg?

4 years ago I wasn't aware this address already existed. Renaming the address is a new idea that warrants a separate discussion. The part of this issue that remains relevant is the set of recipients, so I'm going to change the title of this issue to reflect that.
Note that we're already accruing maintenance tasks for the recipients list:

So forwarding to coop@bocoup.com seems more practical.

4 years ago This is done, closing. I'll file a new issue about renaming.
The e-mail address web-platform-contribution-guide@bocoup.com is currently referenced from "Finding who to talk to" and "Skills". Before the guide is published, this e-mail address should be created.
We could configure the address to forward to specific folks at Bocoup, but it might be even better to forward to everyone and let individuals set up filters according to their availability and preferences. That would avoid the burden of list maintenance and also provide a much lower-friction way for future employees to begin participating.
