From Christine: "Type of things pages using all the data?" #67

2 days ago: "The types of things pages don't seem to be accurate. The books page, for example https://gfs-oxford-explorer.herokuapp.com/item_types/Books shows books in only 4 collections, when they books is I think in 6 places in the 'type of things' column'. It is also showing 0% online and 0 digitized things"

@george08 i'm not clear on the issue here esp with:

6 places in the 'type of things' column'

Which "type of things" column is this? Is this thought to be an ingestion or frontend issue?

This was @mccarthymadsen's report. I presume you mean the Types of Things column in the Inventory spreadsheet, Christine?

I now understand that the type of things page come from the item-level data and not the summary-level data so it doesn't map to the type of things taxonomy. That wasn't clear to me before.

(Agreed that it would be better to have one type of thing reference point in future.)
