7 years ago I think I'm right in saying that we could do link to the online metadata (and we do?), if there is a catalog_url column specified in the Inventory, but there isn't for Marconi.
I'll check with @infovore about faking it -- we'd rather not, but if it helps the demonstration(s), we can see what's to do.
On this page: https://gfs-oxford-explorer.herokuapp.com/collections/mhs-marconi-collection you say you can't link to the online metadata. Can you just link to the catalogue home page http://www.mhs.ox.ac.uk/collections/imu-search-page/ if you cannot link to the individual collection?
Marconi is a good example of page that could be demonstrated, so if you can fake on on this page, that is ok.
