No penalty for using "field paths" #6

Open Gordon-Dry opened 3 years ago

Some map creators use a gravel or sand texture for field paths instead of "real" tarmac roads. When those paths are on (the edge of) a buyable farm land which is not already bought or leased by the player the no trespassing fee is calculated.

Could the mod recognize the areas which are not used by fields (and use path-alike textures) by reading the .grle files or using another method?

Example: When I use a field path "road" to reach my farm I have to pay a fee because the mod interprets it as I would run cross over a cultivated field.

Especially as a beginner who cannot afford to lease or buy all fields around the farm this makes the financial situation even worse.

Hi, thanks for report!

At this moment only plowed/cultivated land is taken as penalty base. Other terrains (grass, gravel, and so on) are free to move around.

Can I ask what map are you playing on, and where is trespassing penalty issued to innocent player? I'll try to investigate :)

The map is called "County Line Seasons FS19", either the original from http://americaneaglesmodding.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=1788 or the altered version (with maizePlus + extensions) from https://fs19.net/farming-simulator-2019-mods/maps/county-line-v-1-0/

Near the "starting farm" (it's empty space where the player spawns at game start) is field 34, with the path at it's outer edge, connecting to the nearby interstate road.
