Browser: Firefox 111.0.1 Adblocker: uBO 1.48.1b4 Extensions: Violentmonkey but it is turned off now DNS: N/A

Additional message

Downloads above a certain size show the disable adblock message after the download countdown. FFAB actually got rid of this message successfully until today, they worked around it.

Hi I can't reproduce. Tell me your VPN does not change DNS, can you try without it (clear cookies / localStorage/ cache for the tested page)? This is happening in all browsers, can you check not on Firefox? disable (if any) the web shields in your antivirus / antimalware software / other blocking software

Go to the uBO settings in the "Support" tab, find the field "Troubleshooting" below and send here.

At this moment I cannot either. I think they're A/B testing. I'll try to save the page and troubleshooting info if/when it comes back.

I was able to find the AAB and create a filter that solves it.

flightsim.to##+js(set-constant.js, checkAdsBlocked, noopFunc)

Edit to add: This seems to cause some collateral damage as a lot of other stuff (reply to comments for example) no longer does anything. Maybe there is a better way to accomplish this.

lol I still can't reproduce it. Can you test on another browser, you have changed settings in uBO, in Firefox (and its extensions) for sure too and check out the rest of the steps I've described here?

Click Download then click the first Main File download, then you will see it: "You don't have to pay, but we do. Let's play fair and disable your adblocker."

They are disabling AAB geographically in some areas. I connected to a VPN in Serbia and it went away. Try a USA VPN.
