Right now, when you drill into a new page from within a tab, and leave that tab, and come back to it, you're still seeing what was in that tab before. It's my expectation that it would reset in that scenario.
Since we're getting rid of our nav this issue will look different in the new design, however, it could still be confusing in different ways.
Assigning to Sabrina to think about from a design perspective. Specifically, where do profiles live? How does it work to get to profiles from the map? From the drawer? Is there any difference? What about discovery details pages from the map? From the drawer? Is there an animation that helps you understand where you are in relation to the step before? What happens when you hit "back" from different places in the app?
