Oh well... Actually, what you saw was not indented by the designer. Check out Arch Forums for details.
However, if you prefer bolder and fuller-looking fonts, just change the rendering style to 4 or 5 in infinality-settings.sh
. You can even further tweak it according to your liking (see the generic infinality-settings.sh for more information on how to do this).
Hello. I have finded a decision: In the 2.6.1-2 version has been included the library
/usr/lib/libfreetype.so.6.12.1
and its symlinks
/usr/lib/libfreetype.so.6 /usr/lib/libfreetype.so
Exactly this library gives nice effect like on this screenshot http://i.imgur.com/oG7X88y.png. So now when I go update your package and see if the fonts do not look as if I wanted I rewrite this library and anything looks good again.
So I have a question for you:
Why now included in the package other library?
This library located here https://www.dropbox.com/s/uz7se5524v7cb88/libfreetype.so.6.12.1?dl=0
After installing package freetype2-infinality-ultimate v. 2.6.1-2 my fonts began to look great. (e.g. http://i.imgur.com/oG7X88y.png)
But today this package has been updated to version 2.6.1-3. And the fonts began to look like before (half a year ago) (e.g. http://i.imgur.com/xjEdqrY.png)
The configuration files are same (/etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/infinality-settings.sh).
Can I use the beautifull fonts without downgrading to 2.6.1-2 version?
