The audible bell setting doesn't always work.
This time, it stopped working after connecting to a host, doing some stuff,
going to a web browser, coming back about 10-12 mins later, then reconnecting.
After reconnecting, bells were audible. The audible bell checkbox remained
unticked/unchecked.
If I tick it, go back to the session, then go back to settings and untick it
again, the beeps stop (i.e. the setting is honored again).
