Like in issue #3 , the discussion of this problem is complicated by the multitude of different cases, and the absence of explicit numerical values.

I think it's fine to go through all of the cases.

But I think it is generally true that most of the radiation is produced on large scales-- (L ~ r^3 rho^2 ~ r^(5-2 eta)--so the radiation mostly comes from large scales for eta<5/2). I think the is backwards in the draft? Or maybe I made a mistake?

In any case I think we could just briefly describe this in a paragraph.

I think you're right. I might have made a mistake in the draft. In cases where eta<5/2 the luminosity will be dominated by the outer radii.
