Is this project alive? I saw some contributors changes but nothing from the 
original (c++) authors recently. Is this project following the c++ leveldb 
development?

This project is alive but I (Nigel Tao) have not had the spare time lately to 
work on it.

This project is independent of the C++ project, and I am not involved with the 
C++ project.
