Implement lyra2rev2 support please. I'll purchase precompiled version if it gets done.

cryogenn commented 5 years ago

Also require Lyra2REv2 support.

Some coins like Vertcoin require their algorithm to be updated from scrypt-n to Lyra2REv2 in the provided coin configuration files, per https://vertcoin.org/specs-explained/ for example.

Can someone explain a bit better why there is a bounty on adding more algorithms? I thought the point of developing software was to keep it current and updated? If the developers don't have the funds to do this, why isn't there a page to be able to better donate towards development if needed to help prioritize issues? A program such as JDownloader https://my.jdownloader.org/contribute/#/ has a contribute page for example to help the developers prioritize things.

Also for those of us who are non-developers we are not aware of the costs associated with development. So we don't know if adding support for an algorithm is going to be $5, $100 or $500 (I'm just calling figures). But if there was a clear representation of the costs of development and people knew they were donating towards getting certain algorithms added to the software, that might help in moving things forward and prioritizing various algorithms.

Personally I think the pool software needs to support all the algorithms listed in some of the mining programs as provided below for example and not simply raise a comment that is now 4 years old but support still hasn't been added.

For @bonesoul or whoever is following the comments.

Your donate page https://gratipay.com/on/github/CoiniumServ doesn't work either. So I'm not so sure how serious you are about accepting donations to improve the project.
