First of all, I want to note that I'm aware Boost is frozen for the 1.66 release right now, but I wanted to flag this up anyway.
The develop branch of Boost.Range has bugfixes from three years ago that haven't made it to master (474c62ab is the one that hurts me, but there are clearly others as well). Those bugfixes could be cherry-picked to master (and perhaps some of them should be in time for 1.66?), or develop could be merged down to master.
This pull request is a suggestion that develop be merged to master (once the freeze is over).
