the example i have is, i publish a podcast and it then want to start moving around the system. couldnt i just have the notifications popup in a little panel on the right with a red icon or something showing there are new notifications? i can click on the subject of the notification to see the details. so, i could have modal and non modal notifications as well as invisible (software only) notifications.
